One may collect basically anything. Some objects are literally meant for this, i.e. coins, postal stamps, butterflies, etc. One may even buy a complete collection. However a genuine collector would not agree to such an approach. The collector's personality should be unique. Collecting musical instruments is not such a rare and original phenomenon. However our magazine's longtime contributor Anatoly Beliakov collects not simply the instruments but their history.
